Common questions about Pantry Boxes (the B2C weekly box) and Wholesale Subscriptions (the B2B program for restaurants and cafes). Can’t find your answer? Email scott@adairpantry.com — I read every one.

Pantry Boxes — for households

When does my box arrive? Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays — you pick the day at signup. We deliver inside Beltway 8 between 7 AM and noon.

Can I skip a week? Yes. Log in by Tuesday 2 PM. One click.

How do I cancel? Account → Subscriptions → Cancel. No fee, no questions, no save-the-sale email loop.

Can I change my box size? Yes. Switch between Starter, Standard, and Family anytime before Tuesday 2 PM. Takes effect on your next delivery.

Are the items the same every week? Most items rotate. You’ll always get a balance of breakfast, lunch, pastry, and coffee — specifics vary.

Can I customize what’s in my box? Standard and Family subscribers can swap individual items each week from your account. Starter is the curated tier — if you want to pick every item, go Standard or Family.

What if I have allergies? Tell us when you sign up. We’ll flag your account and swap accordingly. We can’t guarantee a peanut-free kitchen — we work with nuts in the pastry program.

What if my box is damaged or missing items? Reply to your delivery confirmation email within 24 hours. We replace or credit, no questions.

Are leftovers safe? Refrigerate prepared items immediately. 5–7 day shelf life. Pastries hold 3–4 days at room temp or freeze a month. Coffee 30+ days. Juice 90 days.

Wholesale Subscriptions — for restaurants and cafes

What’s the difference between tiers? Frequency and delivery fee. Daily is 5–7 days a week with free delivery. The fewer days, the higher the per-stop fee. Daily makes the most sense if you order from us most days anyway.

How do I know which tier I should pick? Send us your last 6 months of orders. We’ll tell you which tier prints the smallest invoice for you.

What if I need extra one day? Add to the next delivery in your portal up to 2 PM the day before. For same-day add-ons, call.

Can I pause for vacation or slow seasons? Yes. Up to 8 weeks. No fee, your tier eligibility stays.

What about catering orders? Catering is separate from your subscription — placed and billed on-demand unless we agree otherwise in writing.

How does invoicing work? Net 30 by default. You can switch to autopay (credit card or ACH) anytime.

What if you run out of something? Daily and 4x subscribers get filled first. We email a substitution notice before the truck leaves.

How locked is “locked pricing”? Your unit prices stay flat for 6 months from your subscription start. After 6 months we re-quote.

Where do you deliver? Inside Beltway 8, Greater Houston. We do not deliver outside the zone.

Are you actually the same kitchen that supplies restaurants? Yes. The 4080 Bissonnet commissary that bakes for Houston restaurants is the same kitchen that packs your Pantry Box. Same chef, same ingredients, same morning.
